Glad Zoo is an animal park in the southern part of Jutland. Surrounded by nature, the park offers interesting wildlife, spectacular bird shows, and a full day of fun for the entire family.
We have more than 80 animal species, and we love to share our knowledge about them. Join our daily events to learn more about our animals and how we take good care of them.
When your feet get tired or your belly rumbles, there are plenty of green oases where you can enjoy food, snacks, and drinks from our café or bring your own lunch.

Activities
Our animals
In Glad Zoo, we have more than 80 different species. The animals wear feathers, scales, spikes and fur. Some of our animals, such as snakes, monkeys, and wild dogs, can be watched safely from a distance, while others, such as goats, antelopes, and lamas, are kept in open folds.

When you are ready for a lunch break, you are welcome in our small café. You can see our menu here.
You can also enjoy your own food in our beautiful flower garden or on one of our many terraces.
If you prefer to barbecue, you can visit our new BBQ hut with an impressive view over our Southamerican Pampas fold.
Play Areas
Jump and play your way through Glad Zoo! The entire park invites you to play. If mom and dad need a rest the kids (and other playful souls) can keep playing in our wooden playground or frolic on the jumpy pillow.
Souvenir Shop
Do you wish to bring home a memory from your day in Glad Zoo? Stop by our souvenir shop, where you can find beautiful posters, toys, and much more. The shop is open during zoo opening hours.

About Glad Zoo
Glad Zoo is a part of the social enterprise Glad Fonden. At Glad we provide jobs and education for people with different abilities. In Glad Zoo, people with and without disabilities work side by side to care for the animals and communicate our knowledge about animals to our zoo guests. During weekdays, students from our STU (school for young people with special needs) are educated in our zoo. We provide education in two subjects: zoo keeping and craftsmanship.
